Description:

(Polyoxyethene (20) sorbitan monolaurate) Emulsifier, stabilizer. Synthetically produced fatty acid esters with sorbitol and polyoxyethylene. Stabilizes the structure of fat and foam, and prevents margarine and frying fat from splashing when heated.

An emulsifier is an agent that creates a stable mixture of two substances that normally do not mix with each other, such as water and fat.
